My name is Lauren and I am a health and fitness junkie! I became a certified personal trainer in 2008, while working on my degree in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Upon graduating with that degree in 2010, I decided to see what I thought of personal training as a full-time job, and boy did I love it! Since dedicating my time to training clients one-on-one, teaching bootcamps, TRX classes, interval training, kettlebell training, among many other types of exercise, I began to discover the need for nutrition information at the level of the general population. In 2011, I began studying for a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the Metropolitan State University of Denver and now have a projected graduation date for December 2014! Over these years, my love for educating people on the essentiality of maintaining physical activity and managing a healthful diet throughout life has continued to grow.
